OK people, I am not above begging...
I am asking if anyone will buy some Mary Kay items at regular price. That would help us while Tom is out of a job.
Just look online (www.marykay.com) and let me know what you want by email- pbjpreschool@hotmail.com
I figured this is better than going out to a big intersection with a homemade sign...my kids dressed in rags and all of us crying...I'm kidding...(well, kind of) :)
Yes, it's that bad. But I still have some hope...
Thanks!

Projects, Late Nights, Girls Nights, AND Pure Cuteness!!!
Tom refinished the hutch we got from his parents with his birthday money. It looks awesome! I loved it before but now it's fabulous! (It used to be all oak color and has new hardware)

Last Friday the kids had a late night...
What a "late night" looks like...
lots of food

lots of kiddos

mess in the boys room

mess in the girls room

Morgan and Savannah

Zack and Brenden

Sydney and Summer

Games!

Tom "hiding" on the computer

Girls Night, Cowgirl style! Lindsay hosted the first monthly themed girls night with the "Eagle Valley Girls". We had BBQ food, cowgirl names (I was Bobbie Jo), games, and lots of laughter.

Pure Cuteness! On Saturday I was driving home and felt like I should take a route home that I never do, and guess what I see on the side of the road...a sign saying free puppy. I should have kept driving, but I stopped and then it was ALL OVER. Cutest little thing I ever saw! Born on 12/26, Maltese/Shih-Tzu mix, I fell in love with it right away and could not say no! It was funny when I got home and brought Tom outside to see our new addition...he was 5 feet away and said, "You're taking it back!" Then as he got closer he said, "Ohhhh maaaan, it's cute!" And so we kept him. At least for now. I don't know how long it will last. A puppy is A LOT of work and I love him, Tom thinks he's cute but does not love him. So we are still on trial here...
The kids were absolutely shocked when they saw him. Tom pretended the kids were in trouble and called them all downstairs and then said, "Who made all this mess?" pointing to the pantry, then the kids all looked in and saw the puppy and started screaming and crying. It was precious! Savannah cried the hardest. Savannah and Sydney have read the puppy care book and all the kids have been really great helping and taking care of him.
Meet "Buddy" and our cat Nemo doesn't know what to think of him

He's as big as a guinea pig, isn't he darling?!

I love him!

Cutest face EVER!

the kids are in heaven

Haircuts, Temple Square, and emotions!
2/16- My cute friend, Gina, cut my hair for a trade of babysitting! She is so nice! When I got home Sydney was upset because she has wanted her hair cut for months! So we called Gina and got Sydney in. When Sydney came home Savannah decided she wanted hers cut too! SOOOO, we call Gina again...luckily she was free most of the day! Thanks G!!!! So here we are, all matching hair, well, except for Summer, I am keeping her hair long for now.
And I am Gina's babysitting slave for a while! :)
Cute sisters/twins...Sydney and Savannah

Do they even look like me?

Since it was a holiday we went to Temple Square and walked around. It was SO fun! Savannah was adorable, she was bouncing around and said, "Mom, I am so happy, I must be feeling the spirit!" Kids fill my soul!!!

Love this view from the top of the Joseph Smith building. Can you tell Sydney is nervous? She is scared of heights like her mom!

Savannah helped Summer when her legs were tired.

Savannah and Zack talking before the Joseph Smith movie...I had no idea what I was in for...have you ever seen this movie?

Are you overwhelmed?
Think your life is hard?
Do you have problems?
Do you complain?
Well, if you haven't seen this movie about the life of Joseph Smith then you NEED to see it! I cried so hard I had to cover my mouth, the sobs were out of control! Granted I had PMS so my emotions were slightly more intense (haha). The life of this amazing prophet is just so incredible, inspiring, motivating, and full of sacrifice. I came out of the theater just feeling so grateful to him and his example, and so humbled for complaining about my problems! I have no trials, that I can really call a trial! I just hope when the REAL trials come that I have enough faith, and deep faith, to endure them well.
