GIRL! Tom and I saw our baby today! We took all the kids and we were all anxious to see. Zack was about to cry when the radiologist said the baby was a girl. That made me sad. The other girls were excited but kept saying, "Are you sure?", "We thought it was going to be a boy?", "What about Joshua?"...
I am very happy that my baby is healthy and the ultrasound was super cute! But I am a little confused thinking this may be my last chance at a baby and it is not Joshua. I dreamt about Joshua years ago and always knew I was supposed to have another baby, a boy. So now what I am supposed to do? There is no way Tom will agree to another baby AND I am not sure I could do this pregnancy thing again. I guess I just have to trust that things will just work out.
I am not disappointed to have another girl, I love my cute, sweet, beautiful girls! And I can't wait to hold and kiss my new baby girl! How can I do another 19 weeks? *sigh*
OCTOBERFEST
I love the fall and Halloween! It's always full of fun activities. Instead of doing 5 different posts I lumped them all together. Yay for October!

The end of an era
No more pets in the Cannon Home
Right before school started, Tom finally reached the end of his limit...I was pregnant and cleaning the kitty litter, the puppy was confined to the laundry room or else he would use our carpet as his potty... among other things. So it was such a sad day! I put all the pets on KSL classifieds and got offers within a few hours. There was lots of tears from me, Savannah, and Sydney. I am a true "pet person", I love them. Summer and Zack were fine. Tom said we would never do this again because of how upset the girls were. Two nice families came to our house to pick up Buddy and Gir. Seeing the kids say goodbye was heart wrenching! We drove up to South Jordan to give Nemo away and Sydney held him and cried the whole way there! It made me cry too, no sob!
Trying to make up for it a little bit we let Savannah and Sydney spend some $, that we got for the pets, at Toys-R-Us. Then we took all the kids out to eat and to see a movie. Savannah and Sydney still cried a lot. It was SERIOUSLY so sad! Where is my consolation prize you may be wondering...well I get a baby so I really can't complain!
Now the house feels empty, my heart aches for them, I miss my puppy and cats, but I have to admit it is CLEANER, EASIER, and CHEAPER to not have pets.

LAGOON! 8/14
We went to Lagoon with Tom's work right before I went back to work. We weren't going to tell the kids about the baby until I was further on but they needed to know why I wasn't going on any rides...so we told them and it was really cute how they all responded. Zack said, "I know it's a boy!" All the girls cheered! From then on there was no way to keep it to our family, the kids told their teachers at church and school...
I did get to go on the Ferris wheel, but other than that I just took pictures all day.

Let the posting begin!
Wow, this has got to be a new record for me...2 posts in 2 months. Pathetic! I have good excuses, you could call me the QUEEN of excuses. For example,
a new school year starting,
being pregnant (sick and tired),
having a SEVERE sinus infection for 6 weeks,
3 kids on 3 different soccer teams (I swear I will NOT do this next year!)
just to name a few, but I am done with excuses
so here I go, trying to catch up from the summertime
We went on a fun outing to Temple Square and church history museum. Tom had each kid pick a postcard from the museum gift shop and try to find it in the museum. Then we let them use some allowance money to get something small from the gift shop. What was totally adorable was Savannah used her money to buy me a CTR necklace that I said was cute! She surprised me with it later, she is such a thoughtful child!

YW Camp June 9-12
It is hard for me not to post 50 pictures from camp so I only chose 30 and did a collage. It was SO much fun to be at camp again after many, many years. I love these young girls, they make me feel young again! And even though it rained 95% of the time, it was freezing, and our kitchen blew away in a mini hurricane, the girls were so positive and GREAT campers! Sharing a tent with 5 of the most FUN ladies was too fun, my stomach hurt from all the laughing. I absolutely LOVE camp!
